• Arrive with completely clean, makeup-free eyes and lashes
• Wash your lashes thoroughly with oil-free cleanser or lash shampoo
• Remove contact lenses (bring glasses if needed)
• Use the restroom before your appointment — you’ll be lying down for 1–2 hours
• Bring reference photos if you have a specific style in mind (natural, doll, cat-eye, etc.)
• Oil-based products around the eyes (for at least 24 hours before)
• Curling your natural lashes
• Wearing mascara, eyeliner, or foundation near the lash line
• Caffeine or heavy meals right before — you’ll want to relax!
• Wait 24–48 hours before getting lashes wet (no shower, steam, or swimming)
• Clean lashes 2–3 times a week with a lash-safe, oil-free cleanser
• Gently brush lashes with a clean spoolie daily
• Sleep on your back if possible or use a silk pillowcase to reduce friction
• Schedule fills every 2–3 weeks to maintain fullness
• Oil-based cleansers, makeup, or skincare near the eyes
• Mascara (especially waterproof!) — it breaks down the adhesive and clumps lashes
• Rubbing, picking, or pulling at your lashes
• Lash curlers or heated lash tools
• Sleeping face-down or on your side if possible
• Hot steam, facials, or saunas for the first 48 hours
To keep lashes looking fresh, book a fill when you have 40–50% of your extensions still intact. Waiting too long may require a full new set.
